Subdivision CDC - Low Rise Housing Code
What is the Low-Rise Housing Diversity Code?
The Low-Rise Housing Diversity Code allows for dual occupancies (duplexs), Multi-Dwelling Housing(Terraces) and Manor homes to be build via a Complying Development Certificate (CDC).
It also allows for a Subdivision Complying Development Certificate (Subdivision CDC) to be issued, which means a developer can obtain both the building and subdivision approval through Registered Certifiers and not be required to go to Council.
This means quick approvals and getting on the ground constructing your development sooner!

When can I subdivide my Dual Occupancy without Council?
If you had your Dual Occupancy or Multi-Dwelling Housing (Terraces) approved by a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) then you may be able to Subdivide, using a Subdivision Complying Development Certificate (CDC) to create sepearate lots that can be sold individually. If your Dual Occupancy was approved via DA (through Council) then you will need to head back to Council to get approval to Subdivide.
